Announcements – 11/20/08
If you are caught on campus riding a bike, scooter or skateboard at any point in the day, it will be confiscated until the next day. Once you get onto campus, you need to lock up your bikes, or put your scooters and skateboards in the office, no exceptions!
Attention Lawson students and staff -- please don't forget to do your trash pick up after lunch. We all need to do our part to keep our beautiful campus clean!
EClub members! There will be a meeting today at brunch in room 25. Be there in the room as fast as you can. Make sure to bring your posters and prizes. Be there, be square!
CEEF has just announced that their ePIC Film Festival deadline for applications has been extended till November 30, 2008. Applications are available in the office.
Attention Young Entrepreneurs Club:
There is a mandatory Holiday Faire meeting in the gym at lunch TODAY. Please bring your lunch so you do not have to stand in line. Meeting will start 10 minutes after the lunch bell rings. No food in the gym. Please eat before coming into the meeting. See you there.
The Lawson Athletic Dept is searching for girl’s basketball coaches, so if you know anyone that would be interested, please have them contact Mr. Gibbons as soon as possible. Thanks.

The JV and Varsity Wrestling Team lost tough meets against Sunnyvale Middle School. Individual match winner for Varsity were: Eben S and Youseph P and winning their matches by pins were Blaze H. and Evan D. Lawson's last Wrestling Match of the season is Thursday at Kennedy.

The AMC 8 math test will be given today, Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 3:10. The test will take approximately 40 minutes. Only those students who signed up in October will be allowed to take the test. Absolutely no exceptions! Lists will be posted in the quad windows today telling you which rooms you should report to. Students are responsible for showing up on time. No make-up tests will be given and if you are late you will not be able to take the test. No exceptions. Check the lists today so you will know where you should report.
Attention eClub members! There will be no eClub meeting to day as some 7th graders are at the field trip. No eClub meeting today.

It's about that time again; the PF dept is hosting its annual turkey trot on the last day before break Tuesday November 25th at lunch. Dust off your racing shoes and get ready. There will be prizes given based on gender and grade level. There will be six student divisions and two teacher divisions as well, stay tuned over the next week for more details!
