- Dec.4 - Final payment ($595) and all paperwork due to your science teacher. Checks are payable to Lawson Middle School.

The Lawson Current: Our online Newspaper!
This year, students were offered a new elective, “Online Journalism.” Seventh and Eighth grade students selected this course in order to learn more about journalism and the creation of an online newspaper. We have a diverse student population of nearly 1,200 students, and the majority of them are comfortable with computers. Therefore, it made sense to create an online presence as we adapt to twenty-first century learning skills and modes of communication. We are hoping to use our website to reach out to the parent community as well as others, so feel free to sign up for an email subscription to know more about our upcoming issues (this can be done while visiting the site).
